Elsie Hayden
ELSIE (LC) HAYDEN
Born in Mexico but always lived in El Paso, Elsie (LC) Hayden has been writing and publishing for nearly 25 years: fiction, non-fiction and poetry have appeared in a number of magazines as well as newspapers (over 400 pieces!). The final goal of actually writing an novel has been only a recent assignment but with her first book, Who's Susan, she has already reached a certain degree of success. She holds a Master's Degree in Creative Writing from the University of Texas and is a member of Sisters in Crime, the Manuscript Club, Mystery Writers of America as well as the Southwest Writers Club. Hayden also teaches English, British literature and creative writing in a High School at El Paso where she lives with her husband and two children. Her second mystery - the second also of the question series - When Colette died was published in late 1999.
